Michelle and Michael Singletary @ Parish Gallery

REMINDER

In less than two weeks, Friday, March 19th you can witness an unusual and fun art exhibit by two extraordinary African American artists, Michelle and Michael Singletary. They are a husband and wife art team, who are transplanted New York artists, living in Maryland for less than a year. This will be their first exhibit in Washington DC in over 40 years, when they both received a proclamation from the city of Washington DC declaring, "March 30,1987, Michelle and Michael Singletary DAY." They have a huge New York following of collectors, patrons and art lovers. Their work has been seen on the "Cosby Show", in Spike Lee movies, and featured in Ebony Magazine. Come early. The exhibit is family friendly and features a 7 foot painting tribute to Michael Jackson.

Parish Gallery is proud to present the artworks of Michelle & Michael Singletary in an exhibition entitled, "Music, Dance, and Michael Jackson". This show will open with a reception from 6:00 8:00 pm on Friday, March 19th and will run through April 13, 2010. Their exhibition is dedicated to Michelle¹s father, Richard S. Nero, Sr. who recently passed.
